01 / WHY MEDELLÍN

A city built to be read

The valley is part of the story.

Medellín is shaped by movement, reinvention, and dramatic geography. Its Metro and Metrocable do more than move people—they reveal how infrastructure, public life, and neighborhood identity meet.

We will not experience the city from behind a tour-bus window. We will walk it, ride it, play through it, meet people shaping it, and notice what most visitors pass by.

01

Play

Games, prompts, movement, and permission to become a beginner again.

02

Urbanism

Transit, public space, neighborhood identity, and the choices that shape belonging.

03

Adventure

Mountain edges, physical challenge, uncertainty, and stories you earn together.

What the days feel like

Enough structure to go deep. Enough room to be surprised.

MORNING

Neighborhood walks, transit expeditions, and conversations that give the city context.

AFTERNOON

Field labs, playful challenges, movement, and a choice of adventure intensity.

EVENING

Long tables, reflection, optional city life, and time for the group to become a group.

This is for you if…

  • You are curious about cities, people, design, or public life.
  • You want adventure without an extreme-endurance atmosphere.
  • You enjoy thoughtful conversation but do not want a conference.
  • You are willing to play, experiment, and occasionally feel like a beginner.
  • You want to meet interesting people without forced networking.

You will not just visit Medellín. You will learn to read a city differently—and return home with new people, new questions, and a more playful way of moving through the world.
